Fitness is not just pumping iron and hitting the gym every day. Mental, social, health and financial fitness are as important to maintain over all top form inside out. Good health begins with inner nutrition. One way to find out if you are meeting your body's nutritional needs is to keep a journal of all foods you eat per week. You will be surprised to find out that you may be lacking in ncessary and vital servings of each food group.
Diets that tell you to skip any food group may be damaging your health over a period of time. Vitamins from natural foods are the best way to prevent illnesses, fatigue and stress. Your day should begin with a wholesome breakfast, mid-day snack, light lunch for energy, mid afternoon snack booster, dinner and light snack several hours before bedtime to ward off late night cravings. Of course, water and nutritional snacks should replace high fructose drinks like soda and candy, sugary or salty foods.
Once you have committed yourself to keeping a journal, you can now create a weekly shopping list to support your daily nutritional needs. Make this planning time fun and exciting. Try to collect coupons to save at the store and buy things that are a necessity and non-perishable items in bulk like household items. Make going to your local fruit and vegetable stand a priority every day so that you are always acquiring fresh foods as a resource for nutrition. Never rely on only vitamin supplements. Some taken in excessive quantities can be toxic to the body. Stories reveal daily how some vitamins don't provide enough nutrients as stated which could rob you of good health.
I personally suggest making fruits and veggies your main course and you can always sprinkle on tidbits of meat morsels, rice, potatoes and carbs to gain that energy boost if necessary, but limit butter, salt, and toppings that add extra calories. Preventative measures against Diabetes, high blood pressure and common illnesses when you natural age will have your bidy thanking you later on. It's never too late to boost your over health, diet, exercise and nutrition plan. Just remember you are what you it and your over all fitness reflects your activity level.
Work out daily with light to heavy weights so your body is always burning fat. Set up a workout schedule with a personal trainer and stick to it. Get started by implementing a plan to focus on target areas you want to improve the most and know you will see results if you stay dedicated to routines and exercises. Do exercises that work best for you and that you enjoy.
Most of all, understand that your waistline is your core indication of physical fitness and should be worked out the most for optimal shape and form, but do understand one's physical traits may be heriditary so if you're plump in the mid section, wear clothes that make you feel wonderful and just do your best to get better in shape each day.
Don't negate to stop working to do your sit ups, crunches, twists and whatever series of at least 3- 4 exercises at 25 reps per exercise and perhaps, 4 sets of each daily. A rest day is fine, but you should implement cardio so you will stay on track.
As a former Bailey's worker, I can attest to the results you will see.
